Lumsden Beach during sunrise. I photographed this one as the sun was peaking through the clouds creating some sunrays, with the beach framed by the tall grass and dunes. The light was hitting the sand on the path to the grass along the edge of the beach.
Nothing complicated, just a nice morning at the beach. Lumsden North Beach is known for its long stretch of white sand and is one of the beaches people visit in the area, both locals and visitors from away.
The warm golds in the sky and grass give this photograph a comfortable, relaxed feel. I think it would look especially good as a larger print in a living room, bedroom, cottage or sunroom. It would also work nicely in a beach house, vacation rental or office where you want something that brings a bit of the Newfoundland coast into the room. If you've spent a summer at Lumsden Beach, this is the kind of photograph that can bring you right back there.
